Dynamic Fields is a new feature in Alt Legal that lets firms and companies build custom fields directly into their matter detail pages. Whether you need to capture a single piece of internal tracking information or a full set of firm-specific data points, you can add as many custom fields as your workflow requires — each configured to work exactly the way you need it to. What You Can Do With It
- Add one or many custom fields. Work with our support team to build out as many custom fields as your matters require, tailored to the unique data your firm tracks.
- Control where fields live. Set the exact location of each custom field on the matter details page so your team always knows where to look.
- Organize by filter. Assign each field to the appropriate filter category, keeping your docket organized and your custom data easy to surface.
- Choose how fields are populated. Configure each field to pull from previous usages for consistency, stand alone for free-form input, or draw directly from your Contacts list — so the right data flows in the right way.
