Managing a large docket means making a lot of the same changes — and now you can make them all at once. Bulk Actions lets you update multiple matters simultaneously, directly from the table report, so you spend less time clicking and more time on the work that matters.
What It Is
Bulk Actions is a new capability in Alt Legal that lets you select multiple matters from the table report and apply changes across all of them in a single step. Whether you’re reorganizing a portfolio, onboarding a new collaborator, or cleaning up your docket, you can make sweeping updates without touching each matter individually.
What You Can Do With It
- Add or remove custom tags. Apply or strip tags across a group of matters at once — perfect for reorganizing portfolios, flagging matters for review, or keeping your taxonomy clean and consistent.
- Add or remove collaborators. Assign or unassign team members across multiple matters in one action, making it easy to manage access during transitions, new client onboarding, or team restructuring.
- Add or remove roles. Assign or revoke roles across matters in bulk, so the right people always have the right level of responsibility without manual record-by-record updates.
- Manage permissions. Control access settings across multiple matters at once, giving you consistent, accurate permissions across your docket without the administrative lift.
- Add or remove notes. Attach or clear notes across a group of matters simultaneously — ideal for adding context during audits or cleaning up records at the close of a matter lifecycle.
- Activate or inactivate matters. Change the status of a batch of matters simultaneously — no more opening and updating records one by one.
