Alt Legal WebinarCase in Point: How 2025's Trademark Headlines Will Impact Practice

2 min read

With USPTO fees climbing, remedies tightening, and new technologies testing old doctrines, 2025 brings plenty of change to trademark practice. Yet in many ways, the core rules remain familiar: courts are still applying established frameworks, and the same strategic considerations continue to drive brand protection.

Join Alt Legal for a webinar on Thursday, December 11 at 4:00pm, “Case in Point: How 2025’s Trademark Headlines Will Impact Practice” where Marc Misthal from Offit Kurman will walk through the most important cases and changes, showing where trademark law is shifting—and where it’s holding steady. In this session, he’ll cover:

  • What the USPTO’s recent fee changes mean for filing and renewal strategies
  • How courts are narrowing remedies, as illustrated in the Dewberry case
  • Where existing legal frameworks are being applied to new technologies
  • What courts are saying about Schedule A cases and the impact on enforcement strategies
  • Everyone who’s registered for this webinar will receive an email with a link to the recording.

This webinar is pending CLE approval for 1 hour in 60-minute states and up to 1.2 hours in 50-minute states. For more information about CLE credit for Alt Legal events, including whether your state qualifies, check out this page: https://www.altlegal.com/cle-information/
