Kelu Sullivan is a partner with Kelly IP, LLP in Washington, DC. For over a decade, Kelu Sullivan has helped clients select, register, and enforce their trademarks. Kelu represents her clients in all aspects of trademark and copyright law, including portfolio management, licensing, and litigation. Kelu is particularly experienced in the management of large international trademark portfolios and working with clients’ legal and business departments to achieve desired outcomes that are in sync with their business goals. Kelu is responsible for her clients’ global filing and enforcement strategies. In addition to her in-depth experience in U.S. trademark prosecution and enforcement, she has worked with an extensive network of international firms to manage clearance, filing, prosecution, and enforcement of her client’s trademark rights. Kelu also uses her past litigation experience before U.S. federal district and appellate courts to help her clients achieve the best outcome in trademark prosecution and enforcement. Since 2018, Kelu has been an adjunct lecturer at the University of Iowa College of Law teaching a course on IP Advocacy.
