2 min read

We’ll be making the most of our time during the lunch hour at the I ♡ Trademarks Conference by hosting small roundtable discussions on a variety of relevant topics. Each roundtable will have a host assigned to lead the discussion with pertinent questions, allowing you to share knowledge and resources and get to know your fellow conference attendees.

Roundtable Description

The internet is both a goldmine and a minefield when it comes to trademark enforcement. From social media and e-commerce listings to archived websites and digital ads, online evidence plays a critical role in disputes, monitoring, and prosecution. But how are trademark professionals actually using this evidence in their daily work? In this roundtable discussion, Luke Suydam will lead participants through a conversation about common online sources practitioners rely on, best practices for capturing and authenticating evidence, and the challenges of presenting digital content in legal proceedings. Attendees will share their experiences and strategies, helping each other refine their approach to leveraging online evidence effectively. Participants will discuss:

  • When and why teams utilize internet evidence in their work
  • Frequently used online sources for trademark enforcement and disputes
  • Best practices for capturing and preserving digital evidence efficiently and defensibly
